Do you have a pesky oil leak coming from the rear seal? Don't just keep swapping out rear main seals. This thin sleeve slides onto the end of the crankshaft when replacing the rear main seal. Over time the rear main seal cuts a small groove into the crankshaft. This small groove will destroy your new rear main seal causing oil to leak past the seal. This thin sleeve covers the groove giving your rear main seal a smooth contact surface.
