AISAN 35030 TPS on 2004 Tacoma.
I bought this to replace the TPS on my 2004 tacoma (5VZ-FE, 312k miles). The truck was having "throttle lag" like issues. (This thread on Tacomaworld describes the same problem I had https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/04-tacoma-hesitation-at-times-while-trying-to-accelerate.366842/ ) The 4 Pin, 35030 TPS for the 5VZ-FE is a hard to find sensor, after a while of searching, I found it here and gave it a shot. There's no option to add pictures, but it did came in a genuine Aisan box that said "Made in Japan". As expected, it was completely identical to the original. But parts had "Toyota", "Aisan", "89452-35030" molded into the plastic. The sensor has a ring that centers it to the throttle when installed, and the screw slots allow for some adjustability, I set mine to right in the middle. It was a simple 5 minute job, it plugged right in, and the truck fired right up with no issues. I've driven 1,500 miles so far with the new sensor, the problem was immediately gone and hasn't come back since. If any issues with premature failure arise with the sensor, then I will update this review. So far, the throttle feels more sensitive and accurate, and hasn't let me down yet. Thanks to Yotashop for carrying this hard to find sensor for a good price.
