This Genuine Toyota coolant bypass hose runs off the back of the timing cover on the passenger side to the bottom of the intake manifold on carburetor model of the 22R Pickup Trucks and 4Runners listed below.
Note: Some models the hose barb at the intake manifold point down and some have a 90 degree bend. If yours points down this is the correct hose.

OEM IS THE BEST!!!

Water Heater Bypass hose
Great hose for OEM applications. USE a 90° 1/2" brass hose fitting for straight hose non OEM modification. Eliminates factory formed hose, and cost, and lack of availability, especially since no longer available from Toyota.

Perfect fit
This is the coolant bypass hose that goes right over/around the oil filter. I have an 86 pickup 22R engine and this fit perfect, both ends well snug but not impossible to get on. Good quality, love seeing that "Made in Japan" on the sticker label
