Premium Genuine Toyota "Short" front crank main oil seal. Located behind harmonic balancer pulley in oil pump.
This 22R, 22RE "Short" seal is used if your harmonic balancer has a groove cut into it from the location of the previous seal. This shorter seal changes the location the seal rides on the harmonic crank pulley and prevents the seal from being damaged by the groove on the pulley.

The simplest and best solution when dealing with a worn groove on your harmonic balancer. Eliminates the need for sleeving. The shorter thickness allows the seal to sit further into the casing and the lip portion of the seal will not ride in the worn groove.
