Works well on 1st Gen Tacoma (1998) locking hubs
I have a 1998 Tacoma and was rebuilding my Aisin locking hubs but couldnt find the O-ring anywhere. I tried this one and it works amazing! I tried normal o-rings and they were terrible, dont attempt to use hardware store ones, the shapes are completely different and they are too tight and snug. These here have a special T shape giving it sort of a rubber wiper blade that seals inside while still letting it easily turn to lock and unlock. If you need the O-ring, go with these, you wont find a better option out there! Also steer clear of the one eBay seller with aisin hub kits from the Netherlands, they're nice people but its a gamble if your parts ever arrive. Just buy from Yotashop and save yourself the headache. These guys are the best, hand down.
