Steel Timing Guide 22R / 22RE Engines 1983 - 1995
Metal backed timing guide is an upgrade to the stock plastic timing guides. Drivers side Factory Toyota 22R, 22RE & 22RET Timing guides are made of plastic and are known to break and wear thru the timing cover. With the steel backed drivers side timing guide upgrade this will prevent the timing chain from wearing thru the timing cover. Our Steel Timing Guide comes with hardware to install timing guide. The passenger side of the timing chain has the timing chain tensioner that picks up the slack, for this reason the passenger side is not know to break and cause any issues. Others may sell this part but we find that it is not needed.

Hard to find places that only just sell this single metal HD guide. Most other places charge crazy high. If all u need is the guide, this is the place to get it. This will outlast the chain! Comes with new hardware bolts.
