Steering Cap- Toyota 4Runner, Pickup 4X4 (1985-1995) OEM Steering Stop Cap 45619-36010
Are you experiencing a popping sound when turning, especially if the wheel is cranked all the way to one side or the other, 99% of the time the steering stop caps are either missing or so worn out that there is a hole in the middle of them. These are fairly inexpensive and easy to install.

Really Fixed that God-awful Front end Noise
Put a set of four of these on my '94 4Runner. They indeed fixed the horrible noise the front end made each time the wheel was cranked all the way to the right. The plastic is surprisingly stiff, not rubbery at all, so they do take some force to install (as it should be). I put 11/16" box wrench on them and tapped on the wrench with a hammer so it doesn't mar. Just crank the wheel over to get access to each side alternately.

OEM great fit
Found out my steering stop caps were missing a while ago on my 1991 toyota 4runner. Made a horrible popping grinding noise when i turned full lock. Bought these to give it a try before I took it in somewhere. SUPER essy install. Just hold it over the bolt and tap it with a hammer and it snugs on perfectly. I added some all purpose grease to reduce friction furher and so far so good. Been running them for a month now and no complaints
