Toyota 8" Ring & Pinion 4.88 ratio - Yukon Gears 4Cyl - YG T8-488-29
This is a Top Quality Yukon Gears matched ring and pinion set. This ring and pinion will work with Toyota 8in 4 cyl differentials. This ring and pinion combo uses the 4 cyl ring and pinion install kit with the 4 cylinder bearings. This pinion gear is upgraded over the factory 4 cylinder pinion, it has a larger diameter shank to add strength. This pinion also is upgraded to a 29 spline pinion shaft for strength. The factory 4 cylinder pinion uses 27 spline so your factory drive-line yoke will not fit this pinion. This upgraded heavy duty pinion gear uses the V6 yoke, seal and pinion nut. We offer these components available here in a kit.
Note- Does NOT fit factory 4.88 housings. Toyota used a thin ring gear and offset pinion in the factory 4.88 housing. This housing can not be rebuilt with any aftermarket gears.
