- Suggested Torque: 20 Ft Lbs.
1.) DO NOT BEND! Remflex gaskets are designed to withstand clamping force and incredible heat, but not bending.
If you bend them, they will break!
2.) Do not over tighten. When properly installed the flange should be tightened evenly - See the suggested torque range.
3.) Longer bolts aren't necessary. Though Remflex are thicker than other gaskets, standard length bolts will work fine.
4.) Do not use sealers. Silicone and other sealers cannot withstand the same temperature as Remflex gaskets, and can actually cause leaks.

Great product
The product was great,I do wish it had the tin heat shield like the original gaskets but this still works just as well.

Great gasket. Resolved a not so flat aftermarket manifold
I had a leaky exhaust manifold, it was blown out on ports 1 and 4. There were other issues such as insufficient length studs installed and improper torque, but the heat or the poor quality of this replacement exhaust manifold caused it to warp. I am quite confident an oem or other aftermarket standard style gasket wouldnt have sealed it up or if it had, not for long. I am interested to see how long it lasts. Sealed great at reccomended torque of 20 ft/lbs. The only issue with my order was the miscellaneous egr gaskets included with the kit, a couple were damaged inside the packaging, but luckily I didn't need them.

Excellent product!!
As usual I’ve come to expect the best from these guys! I’m in Kentucky and the shipping is still pretty quick so i never hesitate to use them for the small specialty pieces I need from time to time. Excellent company to work with!
